    Re: OS Object bug?

Because the object was made before Vista and it doesn't use a Windows API to get the name (maybe there isn't one?).

EDIT: Just saw Yves' post, and apparently b244 does fix the OS object to work with Vista. Upgrade to it, it fixes so many other things too.

I'm fairly sure Windows x64 shows up as Windows Server 2003 in the OS object too, it does on a lot of things (Both are Windows NT 5.2, but one identifies itself as Home type and the other as Server type in the flags). It even detected my copy of XP x64 as Server 2003 on Microsoft's own site once. IIRC I was trying to download a new version of Windows Media Player, and it told me it wasn't available for Windows Server. It was actually available for XP x64, I just had to pick the download manually instead of the auto-detect taking me to the right one.

OK. If I remember correctly this object has been updated for Vista in the build 244 (the demo is the build 240 or 241).
