    scary sound distortion

Hi please could somebody point me in the right direction.
I need to play a few samples that I have recorded myself they are all very short just numbers: one, two ...etc. The problem is that they sound fine when played outside of mmf2 and when you test them as you import them in mmf2. However when they are played during the game they are very loud & slow, they judder and echo quite scarily. I've tried various format but no luck.
The game doesn't seem to slow other wise and there is only one sample playing at a time. All others are fine just the ones I have recorded (using audacity - and some effects downloaded from the internet).
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Any chance you can upload an example file to take a look at?

    What format files are they?

    Thanks

    Re: scary sound distortion

    Great example

Ok I think this is a common problem. Basically you are activating a group which is playing a sound. The problem is that this group is always enabled and the condition is true so the group continues to play the sound, which is what you can hear. The sound playing and restarting over and over again

I will see if i can modify your code
