    Extracting Binary Data

When you extract a binary file from within a MMF2 application, where does it go? I've been trying to find where the heck the file goes but I've had no luck. Also, does it only allow for .bin files, or does it allow other files?

    Re: Extracting Binary Data

In XP they are extracted to the C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp directory and appear as .tmp files there.

You can pack and extract any type of file, so far as I know. The term binary file is used is this sense "A binary file is a computer file which may contain any type of data, encoded in binary form for computer storage and processing purposes"(Wikipedia), and does not just mean .bin files.
