Installer gives Invalid Data error 11FD

Well I thought I had figured out my Window Initialization Error but ...I haven't. I created a little game for my daughter and when I tried to run it on her machine (Win2kPro) I would get a window initialization error dialogue and then it'd terminate. I thought I had fixed it by not using a .png file with alpha channel in the title screen but it's back. Also if I try to use the installer option the installer terminates with a "invalid data (error 11FD)" error. I thought this was specific to her machine but tonight I tried it on my wifes WinXP machine and get the same errors...
Of course on My Machine (WinXP SP2) it works fine.
ANY help would be appreciated..

Odd...

- do their machines use a program in the background that wouldn't be on your machine? (anti-virus program, etc)

- did you try to transfer the EXEs from their machines to your machine? If so do they work?

There are no programs that would be consistant running on any of these machines..my daughters is very streamlined and not even connected to "the outside world"...
When I get home I'll try the exe's in reverse..never thought about that..

did a quick search on google for the error and a few people refer to the problem clearing up after installing more recent graphics drivers.

Yes, I did that same google search but both machines have way different graphic cards (generic on board, and Geforce) and...each already has MMF2 programs on them that work...
