TGF2 in Linux

Hi,

I'm in the process of migrating from Windows XP to Ubuntu, and I've run into a problem: I can't get TGF2 to work. The installer seems to work well enough, but Wine doesn't seem to register the program as install. It does not show up in the Wine menu, and when I try to run the TGF2.exe I get a message saying "This program hasn't been installed correctly. Please re-install it."

Tried reinstalling to a few times, but to no avail. I also tried the demo, which does work, oddly enough. TGF1 is no problem.

Can anyone help me? Does TGF2 work in Wine at all? A friend of mine suggested there might be some DRM scheme at work here, any truth to this?

I know others have gotten MMF to run under Wine so it is possible. There are some required registry entries for TGF2 to run - so it appears thats the problem your having.

I don't know how to fix it as I don't run linux or ubuntu but I know its possible. Send a PM to a user named LIJI he can most likely give you some advice.
