    Key focus bug!

Hey! Here's another bug report, this is causing some major problems with my current project so I'd love if it was fixed.

Grab! I use Control X in the application, but personally I think the bug is some kind problem with focus in the MMF2 runtime and not Control X since Alt+F4 stops to work too.

    Re: Key focus bug!

Bad luck for me though, although the solution seems to work in the application, the same events doesn't work in my actual game I wonder why. No matter what, I hope this bug is on CT's to-do list

Edit: I've noticed that I have the same problem with sub-apps that contain list objects, so it seems to be more related to that there are Windows controls in the sub-app than just that it's an edit box.

    Re: Key focus bug!

    Hi Nifflas,

I think I'm running into the same sort of issues with my currrent project.

I've got multiple sub-apps running as interface for an app I'm making and I'm hasving to experiment with all kinds of hackery to make combo lists update themselves once ini file data is changed.

So far I've had marginal sucess by using control x t osimulate key presses and mouse clicks in the subapps just to force it to "wake up" and perform the update when a global value is set to trigger the update.

Please let me know if you figure out a clean method.

    thanks

    Re: Key focus bug!

I'll let you know if I find one! Please send me a PM if you manage to do too. In the meantime, let's push for getting the bug fixed in the next MMF2 build. Since Alt+F4 stops working and it also fails to detect a keypress using MMF2's "pause and resume when any key is pressed", it's concluded that it's not a bug in Control X.
