    need some graphic spriting advice

hi i would like to create my own animated sprite like the ones in the libary walk run attack and so on.

i was thinking seriously of purchasing poser boy its expensive maybe over kill.

i would realy appricate any info on the best method on geting started for absolute begginers.

so far ive focused on using the free renier sprites and they are excellent but someone elses id like to create my own and i dont have a clue.

theres just to many choices GIMP / BLENDER / TRUESPACE and many many more.

Where should i begin whats the best advice available??

You should begin with the MMF2 animation editor.

Well, here is what I do.

After going to the animation editor, the plus button creates frames. You can then change the frames to make it look like its moving. Take a look at the library animations to get an idea of what to do. I like to use at least ten frames, but beginners should use much less.

Re: need some graphic spriting advice

I actually do most to all of my base sprite work in msPaint, and port it to the MMF editor to color it. Usually I'm at work when I draw the outlines of my sprites, thus the msPaint.
