Load picture from the Internet

Are there any objects which will allow me to load a picture from the internet (as the Active Picture object would) in the Flash version of MMF?

That's pretty much all my question is. I need to be able to scale the object as you would an active object. Would it be possible to get the Load Frame function of the Active object updated to allow this?

The Active Picture fix is still being worked on for Flash (I think...). Currently you would have to use the get object to get the image data, learn the image format, and draw it on the screen yourself. Hard work!! And not efficient!

I was expecting that the "Animation > Load Frame" action of the Active object would be able to solve this, but you get an error while calling it at the exported swf...

Loading external files, like pngs or flvs, is an extremely necessary and expected feature for swf files. I can't understand why the runtime doesn't have this feature from the beginning.

Indeed, preferably this feature could be installed as soon as possible?

I currently have an online prospectus for a school which has a completely unrealistic file size due to the images which don't all need to be loaded straight away.
