    Background Collision

Hi folks, been ages since I last posted here... but I have a problem with background collisions and wondered if anyone could help!

I have an active object that needs to explode when it hits the background, and the background is a diagonal line (as in a hillside shape). Yet the active object counts the collision about 16 pixels away from the drawn part of the background (over the background but NOT over the drawn part)

I've tried as both overlap and collision with no luck, I've tried blowing up the background to 4 times its size and it still hits about 16 pixels from the image. It's not the active object as it's only as big as the drawn area. I'm using MMF2 Standard 249 HWA.

Despite all my years of doing this stuff I can't figure out why it's doing it. I'm sure this has never been an issue before.

    Thanks!

    Rob

Could you copy the events and objects needed to produce this issue into a new MFA and upload it? It could be a multitude of things from yuor description.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

    Re: Background Collision

    Thanks for the reply!

I've replaced them all with new background objects and it seems to have cured it. I'm sure I checked everything before but at least it's working!

If it happens again will upload the MFA
