MMf2 Window collision

Hello, i am making a TOP DOWN shooter and need help on making the window collison.. i am basically trying to make it stop when it hits the window edge.. but im using a custom engine so its a little hard. can you please tell me any way on doing this? thanks :]

the simplest way to do it is to add obstacle backdrops around the edge of the screen
