Train engine - pushing & pulling "coaches"

    Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of making a simple game where you drive a train (blue box) around a track, coupling up carriages and trucks as you go (the brown and grey boxes).

The inital code seems to work well, but the problem I'm having is the coaches start overlapping and going a bit crazy. The engine and coaches have events set in their behaviours, and the trains controls are 'G' to speed up and 'H' to slow down.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I'd be most grateful!

I've carried out further work and found that instead of incrementing the speed by 10 during key press, setting it to a stable value on key press (eg on pressing G set curspeed to 100), the trucks behave perfectly. As this is meant to be just a simple game, I may remove acceleration entirely for now, until I can figure out why it goes so weird
