    Best Method of World Map Movement ?



    Similar to this image. A character can move between those 'waypoints' by following the 'paths' in between. Clicking on a waypoint will 'walk' a character there.


    Any good way to do this ??

    You mean Adv Path Movement ?
    I can't make head or toe of it <_<" Can't tell which Node and which Path is connected or is which ID...

    Tried Easing Object, and it moves alright. But not following the nodes/waypoints.

    No, try the Path Movement Object. You can have nodes and etc.

    I can't get it to work the way I want <_<'

    Here's my vision... You can click on the Nodes... the 1st, the 2nd, then the 3rd, respectively... It's all mock-up, so it's not practical.

    I recommend using the advanced path movement object, since crafting your own system would take a lot of effort.

    Have you looked at the examples in Multimedia Fusion 2\Examples\Advanced Path Movement? The Adventure.mfa file does something similar to what you want. The object is intended to be used with the "Point Maker" application the author has also provided in that same directory.

    I guess alternatively you could just make an object that contains all the different possible paths as separate instances of the built-in path movement. Each time you add a movement, just place the object on the node it's intended to travel from, then draw out the movement.

    Missing cncs232.dll to run Point Maker.
    Don't want to download that from random website. Where can I find it 'properly' ? I have MMF2 CD, is it in there somewhere ?

    I think that's from MMF 1. I downloaded it just fine from here, avast says it's clean

    I use W7x64 and that .dll seems to be for x32 only.

    It will work just fine, I know this for a fact.
    Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
