    Problem with frequency change.

    Hello Clickteam community!
    First of all, since this is my first post (i think) i would like to congratulate the clickteam staff, i've never been active on the forums but i use clickteam products since Click & Play that came with a VHS (= (i think i was 12)

    Ok my small problem here is that when i change the frequency of a sample! It works when im testing my app on the computer but when i build it to the iphone it just doesnt change anything, sample playes on the default frequency.

    Any way to fix this?

    I believe the iOS exporter doesn't support the changing of sample frequencies! It's a shame, I had to strip some cool Banjo-Kazooie style sound features from one project because of it.

    What are you using the channel frequency to achieve? If it's engine sounds for a racing game I dunno what to suggest because I'm still trying to figure that one out myself, but with other sound frequencies you can use multiple samples created at different frequencies with an audio editor...

    Acctualy i have another option, like creating a different sample where it's frequency is already low and ajust it to start at the right beat! But it just doesnt give me the same cool effect of easing the frequency to the new level )=.

    Well it's a cool game i'm working on that is almost ready, im just implementing the samples now. I'll put it here as soon as it's ready so you guys give me some feedback about it (=!
    On this game, there is a moment where you get a power up where all enemys become very slow, so that's where i wanted the music to change it's frequency gradativaly(does that word exist? I'm brazilian sorry mayme it's gradually or something).

    True, iOS does not support this function.

    Ahh I love the idea, similarly I had a game a while back where the music was faster and higher or slower and deeper depending on the character's health and speed, and it's just not possible to recreate this on the iOS exporter. It's a shame, because it's a nice effect.

    You probably want to use the word "gradually" there, that's the closest word I can think of, though people often think that it means slowly.
