Pause in flash (.swf) problem

Hi, please could you help - I have been trying to get the pause game action to work correctly in flash for a while but I can't find a solution.
When running the .swf in any browser, I pause the game (by pressing the spacebar). Then I press the spacebar again to resume the game. Most of the time the game will pause and then when the spacebar is pressed the game will advance a for less than a second (a few frames) and then pause again.
I can't get out of this and the game has to be quit.
Basically - once the game is taken out of pause mode it gets stuck.

To set up my pause all I do is set up an 'EVENT'>'upon pressing "spacebar"'>
'ACTION'>'pause application and resume when key "spacebar" is pressed'

I have tried the 'EVENT' and 'ACTION' keys to be different from the spacebar. But the pause still gets stuck.

Could you please help.

I'm afraid this is a problem within the runtime itself. I'll work on it only in December. Can you post this bug in the bugbox?
In the mean time, in the frame where you want a post, create one group of event in which you paste ALL the events of the frame. Activating / deactivating this group of event will pause/unpause you game (providing you also stop the moving objects)
