    Monetizing an iOS > Flash port?

    Hi,

    Im just about wrapped up porting my iOS game Pocket Ninjas to Flash and am trying to figure out what is the best method for monetizing. Originally I ported it over to submit it to the BlackBerry App World for the Playbook and BB10 OS, but I'd like to release a straight flash version as well. I've been searching through the forum and see a few options but have no clue into which direction to take it. I though about going the FGL route but since I'm releasing it on various platforms could this be an issue? I also utilize in-app purchases in the iOS version which I can easily remove for Flash but is there a way to include this type of monetization plan? Should I just roll with Mochi? Any help or opinions would be extremely helpful as Im solid on the mobile devcie front but a COMPLETE novice when it comes to monetizing through Flash.

    Mochiads & Gameschart its a very good method ... or FGL When you plan to use ingame item-selling, use gamersafe (http://www.gamersafe.com).

    can I use gamersafe and mochiads at the same time?

    I think yes. Mochiads has remove the "coinshop system"... but Gamesafe have a coinshop-system.

    We're currently in a depressed ad market and a fatigued microtransaction one, so I would recommend a trial or limited options version and sell a full version or sell registrations.

    Hi Tony, what I've been doing is releasing flash versions of my iOS games mainly for the purpose of advertising them. You can have the 'available on app store' buttons in there to draw your flash players towards downloading the mobile version and have the ad income from the flash versions as a nice little supplement (although it's quite hard to make a lot of money through mochi I find).

    Thats what Im thinking in regards to pointing to the mobile versions. Whats a good resolution for a flash game?

    640x480 is a very safe bet. Lower might be too small, much bigger leads to problems.
