    Flash HTML5 ???

Ok, so since things are going to HTML5, should I get the Flash exporter?

If I understand it... Some phones will run Flash (a game). (I'm on an iPhone) ... But that Flash is going to be replaced by HTML5?

So, does it make sense to get the Flash exporter when it is (so I hear), a dying animal?

    Just wait for HTML5 exporter?

I don't think any phone will run a flash game well, there just not designed for it, most don't have physical keys so you reliant on taps to replace mouse clicks and no multi touch, and seeing as how touching is how you navigate around the screen on mobile browsers it is unlikely ideal ( note: im sure theirs some phone which handle this fine by taking you out of the browser and loading the flash app in its own window? however this is the minority if this is the case)

Also no iPhone/iPad uses flash and will not in the future, if you want to do mobile development i recommend using the native extensions for iOS / XNA (windows phone), and android when it comes out, or wait for HTML 5 however for mobiles this still may not be great for actually playing games (in terms of controls, and scaling screen size for different mobile devices) on mobile browser even if they do run fine.

Yeah I figured for sure to use iOS exporter for iPhones ans iPads.

I didn't know to use XNA for windows phones (I just thought XNA was for Xbox. I learned something new.)

Android exporter is on my list... I'm looking to target the Nook, Kindle as part of the Android based group of devices.

So, it looks like, for a 1-2 punch in the mobile realm, it's:

    1. iOS exporter (iPhones/iPads)
    2. XNA (Windows phones/mobile devices)
    3. Android exporter (Kindle, Nook and Android based phones/mobile devices)

Does that sound correct, or am I wrong?

Correct, If you want to be old-skool too you can target Blackberry's with Java exports which are already part of the standard MMF2 purchase, no need to purchase any additional exporters.

You pretty much covered everything in your list. I have all available exporters and I wouldn't give any of them back if I had the choice. I'm real glad we now have all these options and additional platforms available to us... it's the best thing since sliced bread!
