    [Bug] Multi Touch Issues

I imagine this this will be with the extension and not the runtime.

If have lots of rapid touches, they do not always release.
I had unexplained bugs that were driving me mad but finally sussed it and it was touches not releasing.

I created a simple app with a counter and Always set counter to number of touches.
Normal touches it functions as expected with the counter showing the number of fingers of the screen.

Rapid touches however, rapping your fingers on the screen however, all touches do not release.
For my test I rapped my fingers on the screen for a few seconds and got the counter up to 25.

It stayed at 25 when I was not touching the screen so the screen thinks it has 25 touches on it.

/edit while typing, I tried it again.

    With 3 fingers touches accumulate.
    With 2 they actually decrease.
I had the device registering negative touches.

This is quite a serious issue as it has the potential to pretty much screw up any app relying on multi tiuch.

The device I'm testing on is the HTC One X + with Jellybean 4.1.

Narrowed it down to if you touch the screen with more than 2 fingers at once it adds a "permanent touch" that doesn't release.

    Further issues with multi touch.

If you are holding a finger on the screen when you jump to frame, the device does not register the touch when you jump to the next frame and wen you release your finger it registers -1 touches.

I've fixed the touches over frames thing, but I can't reproduce the touches getting stuck on either of my devices. I'll let you know if I find anything in the source that might be causing this.

I can confirm the touch no longer registers as negative when you release your finger.

Unfortunately the issue remains where no touch is registered at the start of the frame.

For example, I mainly do flip screen games so say I'm holding the left control and my character exits the screen on the left and flips to the next screen, the touch is not registered until you release the touch and press again.
This results in your character is just standing there until you release and press again which pretty much makes it unusable if you are using flip screen in that nature.

It's as if the exporter is not polling to see if there are any touches active at the start of a frame.
I've tried a work around of start of frame destroy multi touch and create a new multi touch to try and trick it into registering the touch but it wasn't fooled lol.

For the record, I'm testing on a Jellybean 4.1 device if that matters.

Ah, now I understand. I've fixed this - maybe we'll release a new build today, I'm not sure yet.

I still haven't been able to reproduce your stuck touch issue, though. Is that still happening for you?

Yeah. What I do is put a counter on the screen and always set to number of touches.

Rap your fingers on thr screen like you would on a desk and the counter accumulates.
