    Unhappy Trouble Using ini

    Hello

I cannot figure out how to save to ini files. I've been through various tutorials but for some reason the proper way to use ini seems to elude me. For my latest game, I set it up so that at the start of every level (frame) it would set the ini value to number value corresponding to the number frame it is. At the beginning of the game i have a load button which sets the frame number to that of the ini value.

I figured it would work with this setup but when I tested it, the load button did nothing, so I am not sure where I'm going wrong. I would have posted to file on the forum somewhere but I forgot how to

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

put a counter on each of your levels, for example

level1 set the counter to 1
level 2 set the counter to 2
    etc..
in the beggining of each frame add the condition "save to file "name.ini" and add, set valu item to "counter1" value "1"
and do that for each levels you have

NOW in the main menu add , set valu of counter to "name.ini"+"item value)
if the value =1 then if you click on the continue buton, that send the player to the level1
if the vaue is =2 then it send the player to the level 2
    etc
