2 problems with creating Java applet

Hello, could anybody help me with 2 issues I encountered? I use MMF2 and when I save my game as stand alone application everything is ok, but when I try to save it as stand alone Java internet applet I have two problems:
    1. My game utilizes keyboard control: direction arrows, space bar, ctrl and shift. When I run it in google chrome browser I have no control.
    2. Text boxes, which are transparent in application, show as dialog boxes with white background and unformatted font.

Java does not support multitouch. You can only have opne touch detected in your applet. In MMF you will use the mouse conditions and actions.
Can I ask on what device you are runni,g your application? This is the first time I hear someone wanting to make a game for smartphones in Java...

I run my application on PC with windows 7, and I want to publish it in the future on a website and be able to play the game using other PCs. I don't want multitouch controls but keyboard.

Where did you read that I am creating game for smartphones?
