[REQ] Font styles listed by MMF

Sometimes fonts come with many various styles like: Extra-Light, Light, Medium, Regular, Semi-Bold, Bold, Extra-Bold. MMF seems to always list Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold-Italic for any font. Would it be possible for MMF to "respect" the font styles installed on the machine?

EDIT: When choosing a font for any text object/extension.

Are you sure these are not considered separate fonts rather than separate styles? I don't think Bold/Italic/Underline are stored with the font, they are calculated at runtime.

Yes Italic, Bold and Bold-Italic are probably calculated at runtime, and can be useful actually. Photoshop does that too, sort of "forced" Italic, Bold and Bold-Italic. But I would like better support for native styles provided by the font system.

Take for example the font "Dosis" available from Google Web Fonts comes with the afomentioned styles: Extra-Light, Light, Medium, Regular, Semi-Bold, Bold, Extra-Bold. When you download it you get 7 files all named Dosis-name_of_style.ttf. MMF does not list them, whereas Photoshop lists all the 7 styles. They are not separated fonts.

The main problem it's that is impossible to choose diferent style in one string object.....you can't create a text on string object that use bold and normal for example in the same string object

Using several font styles simultaneously in the String object would be a tremendous improvement. +1
