OK, I have posted two files :

    www.clickteam.com/francois/RuntimeXNA7.zip >>> for Windows Phone SDK 7.1
    www.clickteam.com/francois/RuntimeXNA8.zip >>> for Windows Phone SDK 8

I will turn it into an option in the Application properties, but for the moment Yves is absent so I cant do it.
Just copy one of the files in you data\runtime\XNA\Phone directory, and remove the 7 or 8 so that it replaces the existing one. This file is not to be opened, it contains the template Runtime project.

Um.. François, this new version for 7.1 does not have FAS support!

It seems that the runtime 8 allow me to make 7.1 apps... So if i correctly understand, the version 7 is for sdk 7.0 and version 8 is for sdk 7.1 and 8.0.

Hi Francois, the RuntimeXNA8 is working when building in SDK 8 to makes apps for Windows Phone 8 (but not Windows Phone 7.5 for me), but the new RuntimeXNA7 is not working for me to make Windows Phone 7.x apps on the 7.1 SDK (I can't test on sdk 7.0).

I get error: the configuration data for this product is corrupt.

Please keep up the good work

I am having trouble as well on Windows 8 with the 7.1 SDK.
Have you tried to install 7.1.1 update? This page says that it enables you to run the 7.1 sdk under Windows 8...

Hi Francois was I had the additional update, have uninstall and reinstalled the full thing and then the update again however the same issue is back. As you noted from your post on another thread as the 8sdk actually outputs a 7.1 game I think its best we stick with that even if we cant test on the 7.x devices as long as the windows phone 8 device handles the 7.1 game correctly it should be the same for the 7.x platform.

    Does that make sense?

If unknown will submit to Microsoft and find out

No I do not really understand.
You mean you have uninstalled MMF, reinstalled it, then copied the RuntimeXNA.zip file that I posted earlier. And it does not work?
Can you check the dates of the file to be sure?

I've submitted to certification my last update with FAS support, the fix i made for the paused sound bug works perfectly so... Let's see if it can pass certification.

failed again - but none of the freezing problems are occurring! you've done it francois!

    Requirements Expected Result
Pressing the Back button from the first screen of
an application must close the application.
    Test Process Required:
    1. Launch the application.
    2. Press the Back button.
    3. Verify that either the application closes
without error, or allows the user to confirm
closing the application with a menu or dialog.
Comments: Pressing the device back button has no effect on the application.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Launch the application.
    2. Press the device Back button.
    3. Observe the application does not respond.
i think i was supposed to put in an event for when the user presses back button. will resubmit with that (as a single global event) and hope for the best.
