[BUG 256.34] Replace color doesn't always work in standard 256 color mode

I have the option to run my game in 256 color mode. When it's in this mode, the replace color function doesn't work on hues of black and dark grey except if it happens at the very start of the frame. Particularly, it doesn't work on the colors 8,0,0 and 13,13,13.
