The Randomize Function

Hello,

I need to generate a random number between 1 and 13. I figured this was what the "randomize" function is for but when it asks for user input I'm not quite sure what to enter. I somebody could briefly explain how to use the function it would be immensely appreciated!!!

Random(#) returns a number between 0 and the number below what you insert... so Random(5) goes 0-4, Random(10) goes 0-9, etc...

To make it more user friendly, I think MMF3 would benefit from a more intuitive random number generation function. How about random(min,max)? Stochastic Utility has this feature and in addition to integers also lets you generate a random floating point value within a range. It's super useful.

Is there a way that I can create an event and then say "there is a x out of y chance" that something will occur?

Here's a hint - why don't you open up the MMF2 help file, and see what happens when you type "there is a x out of y chance" into the search box?
