Yes, you need to copy RuntimeAndroid Zip from (MMF2-instalation directory) find in data\runtime\android folder, copy to desktop, opened it, and replace the manifest file that is inside, sorry for this.

please don´t forget to make a backup copy of your original RuntimeAndroid.

if you have a x64 architecture it should be here C:\Program Files (x86)\Multimedia Fusion Developer 2\Data\Runtime\Android

Thanks for that FVivolo... but after following the steps, it still doesn't appear to work for me. It builds to .apk fine, but when it comes to running it on Android, it'll immediately force close whenever an action tries to load it up on either my devices. Is there anything else specific that this extension needs or am I missing something else? (apart from the CAMERA permission)

Edit: I also discovered a missing action for the Android example -- it appears to have no condition for the "Scan" button. Easy thing to miss I suppose.

The APK worked perfectly fine, so I guessed it was a problem with MMF2 when it came to building. I must of made a mistake somewhere the first time, since I re-downloaded, re-installed and re-zipped... it builds and it works! Thank you for the support.

Lovely, I find it very quick to scan too, compared with other barcode scanners I have used. Is it possible to use a smaller scan window - rather than a full screen camera? I have no idea whether this is possible with the libraries in use for this...

No the way it was implemented!

i though in small devices like phones and i choose to use a independent surface to get the camera info.

i will think about it, and how it can be implemented using a controlview

Is this incorporated into yesterdays Beta? Plus do I have to use your XML if I have created my own scanner app?
I can't seem to get it to work with my Phone. Xperia T JB. Crash on button push.
I'll get a log output on it later but it doesn't seem to be working for me yet.

    Hi,

yes you need to add the difference between the XML or replace it as you prefer.

please post your log to see, what it is going on

also here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49201338/Sca...%20Android.apk you have a new building using the yesterdays release so you may test in your phone.

OK Thanks that test works just fine. Are CT going to add the options in the next build so you don't need to insert your XML? What are the options that your XML adds that CT have not yet added?
