subapp's not displaying transition even when ticked (bug?)

the standard transitions included with mmf2 of when a frame starts or ends are nice features, but when used in a subapplication, only the fade in seems to be working. when the subapplication ends, no transition is played even when ticked.

i could i suppose create my own transitions for the subapps i have when they end, but it'd be more work.

is anyone else seeing this or tried this?

perhaps i need to include a timered event in the main app saying that when subapp is finished, allow X amount of time before destroying subapp in order to see the transition?

i'm at work but it's a bug i saw in my app last night and i've been thinking about it all day and why the transition is only working for subapp creation and not working for subapp exitting (im ocd when it comes to bugs ...)
