    Post Fix Japanese translation / 日本語訳の修正

    This thread for Japanese users. You can post correct translation of the MMF2 Japanese version. It will be apply in the next build.

    Oh, ASD. You're always finding the weirdest bugs and issues in MMF2...

    You seem like a good bug finder, is the point I'm trying to make. I actually like the fact that you find some of the most obscure bugs that are in MMF2, and it's a good thing, as they might go unnoticed otherwise. You would probably make a really good beta tester (you were a beta-tester for the Android runtime, right?). Anyway, I don't know any Japanese, but, since you know Japanese, it would seem like there are some serious translation errors (even I can notice just how different the symbols are and how different the symbol ordering is). I also used Google Translate to see some hilarious translation errors, such as the one for timer-based movements, and name instead of number.

    EDIT: Okay, ASD, I won't post anymore things that aren't one the thread's main subject. Unfortunately, this probably means that this is my last post on this thread, as I don't know Japanese.

    I used Google Translate to translate them:

    The old one:

    His translation:

    His translation with re-ordering of some words to make things more clear:

    His is more descriptive.

    You're welcome! I did the same thing on some of the other translation errors that ASD mentioned, and it had some laughable results, such as:

    Original: Operation of the timer-based

    Fixed: Standards of behavior timer

    This is referring to the movement timer base translation, FYI.

    The original (translated using Google Translate into English, as I don't know Japanese) actually reminds me of the name of one of the weapons in a Facebook game I play ("Blade of the [sic] Corruptor" is the weapon's name (cookies go to anyone who knows what Facebook game I'm referring to (PM me for the cookies))).

    The fixed version is quite a bit better, even if it is still is a little off from the English version.
