    Thumbs up iOS Sidebar (widget)

This is a draggable sidebar that you find in apps like Facebook and Spotify. I've tested it on my iPhone 5 and it works very smoothly.

Just copy all of the objects in the frame, and the one event in the event editor (due to the use of qualifiers), and then read the instructions in the Widget's behaviours, and you should be good to go.

Download here (works on Windows, iOS, Android, Flash and HTML5 runtimes)

If you use it it'd be nice to be credited, but you don't have to.

    Feedback is always welcome

This isn't an extension, I know, but I think it'd be more useful here as I think more people would find it here.

    Looks really smooth!

Resizing seemed a bit tricky, but i figured XUpperLimit should be (Xframesize - 108) and the interface content height should be (Yframesize - 96).

There is a problem with drag cancelling, if i start dragging it out or in, and then change my mind and drag it back where it was, it just switches anyway, so any dragging does the same as tapping the button, unless you drag it all the way back outside the screen, (which really only works on computer).

Oops, forgot to squish that bug. I've uploaded a new version which fixes it - just use the download link in the first post. This version includes a new alterable value, ClickTolerance, which can be used to set how far away the button can be before the click is ignored. You probably won't need to change this, but it's there if you do want to.

For the resizing, the easiest way to do it would be to place the button where you want it in the frame (on the left side), and then make XLowerLimit the X-position of the button, then move the button to the right of the frame where you want it to stop, and then make XUpperLimit the X-position of the button now. You'd need to resize the sidebar object to accommodate, but that shouldn't be too hard (just resizing an active object).

Also, if you want the graphics files for this widget (the editable vector ones), just let me know and I'll upload them or something.

    Thank's iamjot!

New update that adds a couple of new features:
    • The user can now drag the area of the screen below the button to open and close the sidebar.
    • There is a new sidebar mode which reveals the sidebar underneath the button. Previously, the sidebar would be 'dragged' behind the button when opening. You can choose either mode to use.

Download link is in the first post.
