    Run on device

What is the best way to run the app on my android device? I hit build and run with my phone plugged in but the green bar goes all the way across and then nothing happens, what do i do?

Is your phone set to developer mode? You can alter this in the settings of your phone.
The best way is probably to have an usb cable plugged in and use the build & run button, but if that doesn't work, here a suggestion: Use dropbox!
Simply drop the apk into dropbox on the pc, then install / open dropbox on the phone, log in and install the app, simple as that!

Build and run doesn't work on all devices (if your device does work with it you may need to change some settings to get it to work, maybe somebody can chime in with those instructions in here?), what I do is build the application as an .APK file and copy it to my device (I used Dropbox to do this but you can do it however you like).

    Its pretty easy ---

First you need to go to your phone manufacturer and get a driver.
This is NOT the driver you see or install just by plugging your phone into your computer.
This is a special driver you have to go download for development.
Google has a generic driver that may or may not work
    http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html

    Second On your phone
You have to go into the settings and turn on USB debugging
If its turned off you won't be able to connect to it

    Third Test your install
In your Android SDK folder then in the tools folder find the monitor.exe and run it.
Does this show your phone connected?
If Yes -- MMF should build and run directly to it
If No -- The driver is wrong or you might have USB debugging still turn off or the Android SDK isn't set up right or maybe something I don't yet know about.

Also, just to further add to these posts, ensure you're device has enough free memory (RAM - not space) as insufficient memory can make the transfer timeout.
