Can you list everything you changed between the version that loaded the MFA and the version that doesn't? Just summarize, not actual lines of code or anything (e.g. "changed stuff in the resource file")

The error looks to be more MMF2's fault though, as according to the error message it can't find it.
"Can't find it" is a generic error message, any kind of error could have occurred to generate that error message.
What I don't understand is why that one MFA and all backups have that problem and new MFAs do not - my only explanation is that you changed compatibility somehow.
I concluded that, but a generic and misleading error message isn't going to help me find it. I can't access any of the MFA's data to find out what is going wrong. It's a bit like working out A + B = C, except C is uninformative, and A is unreadable. You're not gonna find out what B is.
I'm having this issue, too, though I don't think I need to take a screenshot, as Phi's screenshot shows the situation just fine.
