    Binary Object Compression Crash

    I'm getting a crippling crash when trying to decompress a string with the binary object. Without compression/decompression the binary object behaves as expected though.

    I've made a very simplified example, can anyone figure out why clicking decompress causes the application to hang/crash?

    That works, but it's not a real fix. It creates a dependency that the text must first be compressed into the binary object. In your example the decompress button doesn't actually load from the right-side compressed text box, it loads from the binary object that already has the text from the left hand side (the LHS text is already decompressed, so it's not achieving much by only utilising the LHS input box for decompression).

    Because I'm loading files off the hard drive that were compressed at an earlier time, I can't rely on the compression taking place at the same time as the decompression. I need a fix that involves loading from the right-side text box into the binary object.

    The application crash reason..is probably it is compressed string is not string, it's a binary data.

    Click button.A >> Zip Compress>>Base64 encode :: Click button.B >> Base64 Decode >> Zip Decompress

    Thanks.

    The Binary Object's Base64 function is probably buggy...
    Sry, I can not understand this error.

    In some cases are no errors,
    But the other cases occurs application error.

    ex. "test" is fine, but "test2" will crash the applications.

    I'm getting random crashes from this too. I tried swapping the edit boxes for global strings, I thought the edit boxes might be chopping off data or ignoring certain characters, but still no luck.

    The Binary Object will even freeze the application if you try to decompress a blank string. It doesn't seem like a very stable extension if it falls over when strings are empty.
