    build types

    How can you tell in the event editor what build type the game is created for?

    Go to the application properties and look at the build type.

    I need to do this in the event editor, so when my game is running it can tell if it is running under Windows, Mac, iOS or Android
    and make decisions based on that information returned.

    There is an object called the runtime object. Search for it on the forums, download it, then use it to determine which runtime is currently running.
