    [BUG 257.24] Major multitouch scrolling issues

    Hey guys! I have a new bug to report. This is on iOS only, not Android, and I believe it wasn't present until this build (or a recent one).

    Multitouch has new issues when scrolling. The start of the touch returns the correct position, but if the screen scrolls, that touch position moves away from your finger with the screen.

    An example - I have three objects which set to X, Y of touch 0, 1 and 2 when that touch is active, when that touch is not active, the corresponding object is sent outside of the screen. What happens is when I touch the screen, the touch appears under my finger, but if the screen scrolls while my touch is still active, the touch position gets moved out from under my finger along with the frame, until I let go and start a new touch. This is a pretty major issue as it breaks most scrolling games with touch.

    This didn't happen before so it must be something to do with an update to the multitouch.

    Confirmed, this is a major issue.
    When you hold any direction down on my custom controller on a scrolling frame, it will start moving in opposite direction going back and forth.

    Yeah, same here, the touch scrolls back with the frame, aligning it with the left button, the character starts moving left, the touch scrolls with the frame until it's over the right button and that keeps repeating.

    Any update on this issue? i would like to release an update on a game which doesn't work with the current multitouch, i might have to create a work-around..

    Thanks, i tried to make a work-around but it's still acting strange..

    My work-around attempt:
    when you first make a touch, i set the alterable value B of touchtester to "X Left Frame" (alterable value a is the touch id)
    and then for the Xtouch position, i am using this expression: XTouch( "Multiple Touch", Alterable Value A( "touchtester" ))-Alterable Value B( "touchtester" )+X Left Frame

    With this it works a lot better, but it seems to be off by a smaller factor, perhaps 0.150000 which is the scrolling coefficient of my first layer?, and sometimes if i hold my finger still it will just slide off position until i move again.

    So yeah.. if there is an update soon, that would be great.

    Have you tried to put the multitouch object on a layer which doesn't scroll?

    Got it,
    an almost empty ios .mfa is 15mb big now.. so i uploaded it to my server
    http://www.gameyey.com/example.zip
    it contains both the mfa and the exported ios final project .zip archive

    Each finger is represented by a color blob, as long as you move your fingers its all good, but if you simply touch and hold the screen, you will see the blobs sneaking out from under your fingers.
