saving objects and the whole game

    hi again

i donīt get the method of saving a game.

i was searching around the forum, but i didnīt really get the right answer, just some with "ini".

iīd like to save 2 happenings: 1. some object activities while i jump from level to level an 2. the whole game.
one example: iīve got a "sound off" object. i created two objects, one musicbox for on, and one with a red line on it for off. if you click the music box, the object changes its position out of frame and the red-line-music box object takes the place therefore and reverse...

now when the red-lined-music box is visible, and i jump to the next level and go back, the red-lined-music box disappears and the normal one is on place again.

so i guess i have to save the position of each music box, but how?
and how can i save the whole game?

well i solved the problem with saving an object on a inconvenient way with the "lives" object.
add 1 to live when clicking (object change its position) and substract 1 by clicking the other object
live = 3 music on object appears
live = 2 music off object appears a.s.o.

    as i said, inconvenient...

but how to save the whole game.... i got no idea...

i donīt know how to handle "ini"
    hope someone can help/explain me

i got it!! its easier as i thought
create an ini object into the frame of the saving elements, name it "/yourname" (as iīve understand, the "/" means the ini fileīs data will be saved into your app roots on device)
uncheck "crerate ini file into app folder"
lets say you like to save a position of a object by clicking a button (name it "object a" for example)
in the editor set "start of frame" and set "load postion" of object a on "ini" and you have to set the button behavior (user click on object "button") and set "save position" of object a on "ini" - thatīs it

now by clicking the button, the position of object a has been saved and always when you start the frame, the saved position of object a, will be load.
