    FURIOUS! ANOTHER FALSE POSTIVE!

I commissioned someone to write a tutorial from Fiverr and they said the game Steamgo. I made with the latest update of Multimedia fusion claims of a false positive.

I used GETOBECT ARRAY object and String tolkenizer.

"Your software has a virus in it and I will not install it. The virus is Win32/Tnega.ARWO Please accept the mutual cancel for a refund "

Why does this software keep getting false positives.

    Have you scanned it yourself?

No other reports of current false positives another possiblity is the person is running an old virus scanner.

If you can find out what anti virus is having a problem they should have a method to submit a file.

You can also impress upon them the damage they are causing with their faulty scanner

I've had this issue in April and contacted Jeff. Total Defense is the culprit. They are HORRIBLE when it comes to support. I tried submitting a file, and was confused at every turn. I contacted my cable provider, Optimum, and they told me to contact Total Defense which then told me to contact Optimum. Nice.

Jeff, can you suggest another course of action? You've already assured me that it's a false positive, and I know this is true because I installed MMF 2 on a brand new machine with Total Defense, and it instantly finds the Win32/Tnega.ARWO virus from the fresh install when it wasn't present before. Who can we go to to make them accountable?

Not bad advice, Marv, but it doesn't change the fact that MMF 2, and any exe built from it, is perceived as a threat.

I'll talk to some lawyers and see if we can send them some papers.
Their poor software detection routines are damaging people's reputations.

Really don't know what else to do -- if the anti-virus company doesn't bother with fixing false positives after user tell them about it.

This problem appears to be resolved! I was building my application yesterday, which means putting my virus scanner on snooze, and re-installing the latest build of MMF 2, when I realized that the snooze duration expired and my MMF 2 built EXE was still on the desktop. I scanned it directly, and nothing was found.

    This is a pleasant surprise.
