    Rain

In my newest game I wanted to create a rain effect that would work in fixed frame and side scroller modes without weighing heavily on the FPS. It also needed to work well on iOS and Android.

I want to share this with everyone as a way to give back for all of the help we've given each other in the past. You are free to incorporate this into your projects without attribution or warranty.

You might need to change that "total amount of objects" to "total amount of rain objects". If the rest of your scene is using actives then the rain might not even spawn if the rest add up to over 100.

Cool example and effect though, thanks!

Sorry it was modified from a real file. It used to be set to the max # of objects on the frame. I've changed it back to 500 which is the default max objects setting though it will still max at around 100 objects. I wanted to make sure it never created a situation where it would cause user objects to not appear.
