    Question Limit One Active Object

    Hey Clickteam Community,

    How do I put a limit for only one of an active object?
    The player drops their gold when they die (like Diablo or Dark Souls) but if they die again, 2 gold bags are now present. I'm trying to figure out how to get the newly created gold bag to replace the old gold bag. I've used Alterable Values and Counters to no avail.

    Also, there is a weird bug with the teleporting pads: they don't work upon respawn. I have no idea how to resolve this.

    Just do a Destroy action on the gold bag object, which will destroy all gold bag objects in your frame... and then do the create gold bag object for the newly dropped bag. This will essentially replace the old bag with the new, and you will only always have the one gold bag in existence.

    Question Solved!

    The problem has been solved thanks to Danny.
    The issue was the order of the events.
    I've posted the file in case anyone else is having a problem.
