    Question Lacewing Problem

    Hello there!

I am trying to make a lacewing server, but as I use my IP. It doesn't work.

    With localhost, it worked.
How can I fix this? I will send my Client and Server .mfa if needed.

It's most likely due to a firewall on your computer or router. Make sure that you have the appropriate ports unblocked/forwarded.

On-topic, are you running a server? That's kinda important if you are connecting to your IP address. Also, are you sure that you are typing in your IP address correctly? One last thing, like netninja said, do you have a firewall on your computer that could be interfering? If so, you might be able to try changing the port you are running your server on.

I changed the port from 6121 to 25565 (Minecraft port, because I have a server that works)
And I changed the firewall settings, now it's public. My friends can connect to the server
