Changing hot spot/action spot at runtime?

    Hi

Is it possible to change an active object's hotspot and action spot at runtime? Or an equivalent idea? I need to be able to rotate objects according to different anchors and I can only think to do it through hotspot/action spot.

    Thanks in advance!

    Pete

Petedevlin - I don't think it's possible with an Active, but you could always use the Active Picture object - it allows you to change the hotspot and will pivot about that, just be aware that it won't do fine collision detection and even box collisions can be wrong if scaling (not sure about rotation)

Bugger. I'm going to have to try some serious math-fu to work out rotation and position while it moves. Thanks anyway for replying.

A quick note to say I managed to use sone good old maths to have objects rotating and 'orbiting' properly, for anyone interested here is a video if my spoils. Each square object is its own instance and is rotating and positing accorging to its own variables.
