Is there a way to capture part of the screen on android?

Hi guys, I've made a app that is on the Play Store, I've had a request on adding a feature to save drawings done in the app, is it possible to capture the section of the screen required.

    PlayStore Listings:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...y.learnandplay
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...arnandplaylite

Is there anyway this could be done under the android exporter, as I know the iOS exporter has an extension out at the moment that can.

I have had it working on iOS but as we keep having numerous issues with Apple and their DUNS Number database, we can't release it on iOS.
Also how hard is extension development?

An extension could probably be made to make it work. Also, if you know Java, then it shouldn't be too hard to make such an object (though I personally don't know what you need to get started).

I managed to do a basic version for the iOS exporter without too much trouble (there's now an improved version, which took a bit longer!). I'm sure somebody with some Android experience could make the Android part of the Screen Capture object, even if only basic functionality.

Thanks for replying, it's been a while since this but I've just been very busy with other things at the moment. I really wouldn't know the first thing to do an extension myself as I've only got a little experience with Obj-C, not Java.

I've heard java's not very hard to learn but I don't know really where to start.
