I havnt gotten around to all that yet but i did add a jump example to the engine.

The opengl translate function is the matrix posistion (opengl movement) which you can find under the ogl group in events editor.
And to move ceiling around, you have to mess with the vertexs and texture cordinates, (which is tuff)
But if you just wanna move the ceiling down look at this screenshot and change those values.
