Hello, looking to create a loading screen.

Hello, I am new to multimedia fusion 2, and I want to create a loading screen that does absolutely nothing but fill up a bar that changes its amount full based on a short timer. The game I am currently working on will require no loading at all, and thought I might as well make something to spend more time on it before I am done.

Thank you for your forum links, suggestions, or let me google that for you comments,

So, you basically want to make a loading bar that does nothing to actually load the game? That's easy, I'll make you an example. If you want one that actually does something, then I can do that as well, but it will take a touch longer. Also, player's will probably like it better if your game doesn't have a fake "loading screen" that does nothing, since that just means you are making it take longer for no reason. Players will probably really enjoy instant loading, if your game does indeed load almost instantly. It might actually make your game seem more professional than actual professional games that have loading screens seem if it doesn't have a loading screen, though I could be mistaken.

Still, I can make you an example, if you want.

EDIT: I forgot to say, welcome to the forums!

Thank you for your reply! I was honestly just looking for something cool to put into something for a school project. Also, so that I would have some sort of idea on how to create a proper loading screen when the time comes to require it.

Thank you for the invite! I hope to one day make professional games after a lot of practice on multiple fronts.

Okay. There is an example for the closest you can get to a proper loading screen in MMF2. Here is a link: http://community.clickteam.com/threads/80246-MMF2-Preloading-(All-Platforms)

Make sure to read the comments in the event editor to understand how it works.

I decided to go with sub-app for Loading Screen.

P.S.Does anyone know, is it a good way of dealing with it?

Here is an example. Hope Someone will find it useful!
