    few questions about ouya

So i have built some android games, and got one up on google play now.
so i am familiar with that process. For the OUYA, you need to download there dev-kit, and link it into your existing android sdk/java, then you can build the Ouya .apk files?

once you build it, how do you get that apk file onto the Ouya? sorry if this wounds dumb, but i don't own a Ouya yet, so wondering how it interfaces, can you jsut copy a file to it over wireless, or move the file via a flashcard/usb?

also, i am wondering what sort of resolution people are using for this, 800x600 etc?

No need to download the ODK, this is included inside the android exporter, only need to check the proper flag in the android properties inside your application, add your icon and use the ouya object to have control of the controller/joystick.

    Ok cool.
So what sort of resolution is best to use, since these games will generally be played on a tv, most likely 19+ in size

Well if you already exported games to android, you don't need to setup anything else.
You just need to check the checkbox.... ouya application.

About the resolution. you can always pick stretch to fill

How to make an OUYA game

Download this file it has everything already set to go for OUYA.

just export the .APK and load it in your OUYA ...

ok i downloaded the example and when i build and run, it does build the .apk, but MMF2 just hangs.
i seen this behavior before, if i tried to build and android app .apk in MMF2 without having the emulator running.
but you don't need the emulator running to compile a Ouya app do you?
My ouya is arriving this weekend, so i can't test the APK it compiled yet, but i am trying to figure out why MMF2 hangs and i have to end task when ever it tries to build an APK file.
