    Possible Bug - Create new object

    Hi all

    not sure if this is a bug or if someone can explain to me why this happens..(running build 257.12)

    i have a blank application with 2 active objects in, (the default green diamond shape) "Active" and "Active 2", i create a new event

    Upon pressing "1"
    [Create new objects] Create [Active 2] at (0,0) layer 1

    this works fine i get a new Active 2 object at 0,0 and the object count in the pause, play, restart debugger type window control increases by 1.

    when i change the event to:

    Upon pressing "1"
    [Create new objects] Create [Active 2] at (0,0) from [Active 2]

    the object count creates multiples of the object, after 9 presses of the "1" key i have 500 objects (the default object maximum)

    it is a little late here so maybe im not thinking straight, maybe its worth me updating to the latest beta version.

    i can kind of understand if the event if it is interpreting the code to make an active 2 for each active 2 but i think it is a bug only due to the create new object only refering to coordinates, maybe it is both.

    When you create objects relative to other objects, it creates one object for each reference object. This is intended behavior, and thank goodness it works this way, or we would be in a world of hurt.
