Would it be possible to find a way to zoom/unzoom the entire playfield, including backdrop object displayed on screen? Or employ some workaround to use zoom in a similar way than the HTML one?

Not with my method no. And with current shader by Phisix also not. But he might work it out somehow.

I have no idea how to make it work, maybe employing only active objects within the visible playfield, but it doesn't look like a viable solution...
The way he programmed the shader ATM requires operation in the event editor which is not liable for backdrop objects.
Hello, I understood that the problem is the ZOOM OUT, so I'm wondering if It will be possible at least to realize a "ZOOM IN" object for PC version?
