    How to make jump sound longer or shorter depending on jump height?

    Hi there! I have the option in my game to adjust the players jump height to the time spent holding down the jump button. Is there an efficient way to make the jump sound scale in tandem with the jump height?

    Also, while I'm at it, I'm still working on how to create a good variable jump height.

    As it is now, i'm using a modified vesion of DavidNs engine.

    Upon pressing the jump button while on the ground, the gravity goes to -9, which will pull it up.
    If the player is still holding the jump button in the air, 0,45 will be subtracted from the gravity, to counteract the downwards force.
    This only brings a slight difference in jump duration however, and you can never get "tiny" jumps. Any idea how I might modify it so that I can get "tiny" jumps?
    The reason I can't get them is because the gravity is initially set to -9, but I can't figure out a working way of having the initial gravity be an increase instead of a direct jump.
