Unhappy F2.5 bug: double jump when jumping on or from slopes (physics), how to fix?

I'm having a problem with physics platform movement when I build & run my project in HTML5: whenever I jump while moving over a slope (or from a slope), when I press shift in mid-air often the player performs a double jump (even if I disabled it from the object properties). I attached some files which describe the issue. How to fix it?

Also, is there a way to find, within the event editor, if the player using physics platform movement is performing a specific action (i.e. jumping, crouching, etc.)? I'd need it to fire specific actions and customize the player behaviour.
