Not able to select different layers

I'm running MMF Developer 2.
When I click on a layer in the layers toolbar, the properties show up, so I set what I want, then I go do something else, go back to the layer properties, and they don't show up.
Another problem, if I select one layer, then select another, instead of the other one being highlighted and the first one not highlighted, they are both highlighted and I can't tell which layer properties I am editing!

Are you running the latest version of MMF2DEV? The latest build is 257.12.

I tried to download the latest version, but it said that MMF2 was not installed, which it is. And I just bought it!

If you have an issue with installing the update or your serial number being accepted, you can contact Clickteam with the form at http://www.clickteam.com/contact-us . (Did you get MMF2 through the Humble Bundle?) I don't remember any issues like you describe, though, and the HB version should come with a fairly recent build.
