    Saving/loading active objects?

I have started working on a level editor, basing it off of the old advance iso engine example. I am curious if it is possible using the named value object or something similar to create an XML file that will load and store my "tile set". So what I am imagining is having an xml file that could store all of the info needed for my "tiles", the graphic, alterable values etc and then load them into a selection box when the frame is loaded. Is something like this possible? My goal is to try and make the level editor stand alone where I can drop new tile graphics into a folder, define them in the xml and there they are ready to use when I fire up the editor.

I am also curious how I could distinguish different tiles when loading an iso grid object file?

Thank you for any guidance or ideas! Really enjoying this engine so far.

I wouldn't bother with XML, but there's no reason why you couldn't achieve the same result with Ini or array files.

I'm currently using the Web View object to make a relatively sophisticated level editor that saves to / loads from JSON. I probably wouldn't recommend it, unless you really need the added versatility and already know how to write javascript, but it can be done.
