    Unhappy Character flashes between falling and stopped animation when landing on platform.

    I'm making a platformer currently, and for it I made some custom platform sprites, however, when I added collision between these sprites and my character and made the result of the condition the character stopping, whenever I land on one of these platforms after jumping, it flashes between the falling and stopped animations very quickly until I move the character again, and then it goes into the running animation just fine. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    An example of it would be appreciated... otherwise there is little help we could offer...

    Though, you might check the hotspots of your animations, might be different forcing the player to fall over again...

    The falling animation has around 8 pixels more than the stopped, so when the charachter lands and turns to stopped animation, he remains 8 pixels in the air forcing him to fall down again...

    One way to fix it is just moving the hotspot of falling more down:

    Thanks man, that worked. I'm fairly new to the program so I'm still a little unaccustomed to hotpoints and such, I appreciate the help a lot.
