    I'm new!

Hey, I just bought MMF2 from the humblebundle site. I did the introductory tutorial and I had a few questions.

    1) Can I make a platformer in the style of Megaman or Braid? Something that is a side-scroller. I don't want to have the player go to the edge of the screen, load a new screen, then continue.

    2) Is there a place where I can get resources such as sprites? I have no artistic talent and I wouldn't know how to begin to create a character from scratch with animations and whatnot.

    3) I'm sure I can make more questions later.

Welcome to the forum. Yes you can make a side scroller as you described. There are also sprites in the Library available after starting MMF2.

Is there anything I can't do? Something I shouldn't even try because of the program's limitations?

Pretty much anything 2D is possible in MMF2. If you want to get technical about what is possible with it, though, look at nivram's tech manual.

I read today on the forums something about a manual. Is the manual in the program? Where can I find it?
